Best fitting blanket I found for my donkey. Hangs A little long in the chest due to variance in body shape from horses but positioning of the straps help make it work. Unknown on Jan 24th 2022
WeatherBeeta blankets are the best. I've been familiar with them since our daughter owned a pony in Oklahoma many years ago. For our current needs, I had hunted around other horse tack/gear websites but none had a pony size turnout blanket. We are facing a dumpload of snow on New Year's Day, followed by subzero temps overnight, so I ordered this blanket and it arrived a couple days early!
I was elated to see that it fit perfectly on our Welsh/Hackney cross gelding. He can be fidgety in the cross ties, but actually seemed to like the feel of it on his back. I'd say he has impeccable taste. ;)
Sturdy, well-made, affordable. This IS the blanket you've been looking for. Sarah from Illinois on Dec 30th 2021
As a LONGtime WeatherBeeta customer (1998), these blankets appear to be a return to the quality that was lacking 4 to 5 years ago (bad waterproofing and crappy leg straps....). The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that the "drop" appears to be just a little short on them. One mare is fat, the other is not. Same size blanket (60), same problem. They are heavyweight blankets, so they may "settle" once they're been worn a bit longer. They've only been in use for 5 days.
The blankets arrived a day early as well!! Much appreciated! Ponies Galore! Welsh Ponies on Nov 13th 2019
