The Knabstrupper is a rare Danish breed best known for their spotted coats, which come in many different patterns. The pattern on their coats is somewhat similar to the Dalmation dog.

The Knabstrupper was used as Danish cavalry mounts long ago, but now they are used for riding, dressage, jumping and driving. There are even pony sized Knabstruppers, especially popular with children.
