Tried 2 sizes and both sizes rubbed my pony raw. The XS looked to be a perfect fit and she was bleeding after only 5 minutes of trotting on the longe line. I think it is the stiff material of the boots that doesn't allow for any flex.

I absolutely love the boots I ordered. The one thing I wasn’t clear about which perhaps the just for ponies people could elaborate on is I wasn’t sure if I was ordering extra small bell boots from a pony site if they were going to be like miniature size like they would fit my plastic ponies like my Breyer ponies or whether it was extra small in the grand scheme of horses and ponies. so I bet it on the fact that it was the grand scheme and it was correct and yeah I probably could’ve gotten one size larger but it’s fine.

The XS fits our 13.2h medium pony very well.

the xs fits my kids refined medium pony perfectly! she is still using the very first pair we purchased for her 4 yrs ago! She does not wear them in daily turnout but for trail riding, xc, jumping, hunter pacing etc. They have held up well and are still in great shape! No rubs either, I just wish they had more color options in the xs size.

I love these boots, especially after my dressage pony split another brand after only 2 uses! I will buy more of these. Especially love they come in smaller sizes!!!

davis bell boots were the right size for my small sony and are very durable and work great the only problem is they give my pony rubs not just a little rub but he has scabs! not sure if he just has sensitive skin or what but i can't give these less than 4 stars because they do their job but i no longer use them

These are too big for a Welsh A pony. They are light weight and you can make them work by overlapping and trimming, but I really thought an XS from Just For Ponies would fit without the adjustments.
