We purchased this saddle for our 3 year old and her small pony. The box arrived crushed (can blame shipping I guess) but the saddle was hardly protected with just a couple layers of thin bubble wrap. There were two dents in the cantle I’m assuming from the way it was shipped. After unwrapping the saddle, I was immediately disappointed in the quality of the saddle materials. The flaps were so thin they were already wrinkled and I could probably have cut them with scissors. The skirt was made of the same thin leather with a piece of visible, black foam sandwiched between the two pieces of leather. Lastly, the saddle did not sit flat on the pony’s back but rather had an upside down curved shape that pushed the cantle down into into the pony’s back. Also expect a $40-50 return fee, especially when you have to purchase a new box.
