Grazing Muzzles are recommended by equine health professionals to prevent, as well as treat, laminitis, founder, and obesity. The small opening in the bottom allows ponies a limited amount of grass, yet unlimited water. Rather than being restricted to a non-grass environment to control intake, ponies are free to exercise and socialize as part of the herd. The lightweight muzzle resists rubbing and chafing and will not rot.

The Roma Grazing Muzzle has a PVC over closed-cell foam-padded noseband and a built-in breakaway halter. The halter is extremely adjustable and has one section connected with velcro for safety.

This is a light weight, grazing muzzle with a softer rubber base, good for light duty use only. The lighter weight, however, makes it more comfortable and less likely to cause rub marks.
