I have two Amish ponies, one a possible Shetland and the other probably more Welsh, 11hh and 11.2hh. Finding a breakaway halter has been hard as they are in-between most sizes but these in the size large actually fit! The smaller Shetland is on all the middle fittings where as the larger Welsh is on all the biggest of fittings but it fits well!

My 11.2-hand Shetland/Welsh cross has such a slender nose and head that as a teenager he still fits in a suckling size halter! The folks at Just for Ponies sent me a list of all the measurements for every halter they sell. Cross checking my measurements with the list, I took a chance on the medium mini size. Happy to say, it fits really well and is lightweight. Thanks, Just for Ponies. Your customer service can't be beat!

First time mini owner, hard to find a halter that fits him well. Nice adjustability, looks great and the leather on the crown is nice quality and easy to break in. Will definately reorder when I need another!

It’s next to impossible to find a decent halter that fits minis - this one does. They’re either too heavy, too big, too small or just plain wrong with poor quality. This halter fits real minis and the sizing is true. It’s also fully adjustable. I will definitely reorder. I also want to comment on the EXCELLENT customer service. I placed my order at night and received my order in two days!
