Ordered this for our pony and was SO pleased with quality and fit. I will definitely order this brand again in the future!

This is a great blanket. I wasn't sure about sizing as I have a narrow, 13 hand pony who measures a 63 so my options were either the 62 or the 64 in the Baker. I was advise to size down, which ended up being perfect. I love that the front buckles are adjustable, as I did shorten them 2 holes from the way they arrived and it fits very snugly and comfortably now. I went back and forth about whether to order the heavy or medium weight and in the end decided on the medium, which is actually much heavier than what I was expecting based on previous reviews. The temps warmed up and the pony hasn't had a chance to actually wear the blanket beyond trying it on but I don't see any reason why there would be any problems.

The surcingle straps are not adjustable enough to get them as tight as they need to be. The result is that one or both can be unhooked and then hang down. I’m reluctant to tie a knot in them because the horse lying down might lay on the knot. Otherwise I am happy with the blanket.

I thought this would be much heavier/warmer for the price, it's light, but the waterproofing works well.

I splurged and bought the Baker turnout for my pony. I went with a less expensive brand the last time, but never again. Baker looks and performs the best, always. Worth the extra.
