I bought this brush for my dog - she's half Lab and half Pitbull, so her coat is thicker around her neck and across her back and slick everywhere else. :O} I needed a brush that would be stiff enough to get down to the skin on the heavier parts of her coat, but be gentle enough that it would be fine for the slick-coated parts of her body. Well, this brush is just perfect, exactly what I've been looking for! It's fits my smaller hand well, too. It's well-made, too, and should last a long time. Highly recommended!
