The lead line classes at the Devon Horse Show in Devon, PA are one of the most popular and prestigious in the US. There were over 100 entries in two classes at the 2019 show.
The Devon Horse Show has been held in late May through early June in Devon, Pennsylvania since 1896. It is both the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse competition in the United States. It's internationally recognized as one of the premier equestrian events in the country. Over 2000 volunteers work to make the show a success and to raise money for Bryn Mawr Hospital.
It's no wonder that so many equestrians enter their children or grandchildren in the popular lead line classes. These tiny equestrians get a chance to ride in the famous Dixon Oval where the top equestrians in the sport often compete. There are two classes - one for 3 and under and another for 4 and 5 year olds.Check out our Facebook page for albums of 2019 lead line photos
