The pad has dense 1" sheepskin for maximum protection under points of the saddle tree. It's sheared to 1/2 inch under saddle flap to provide a close feel and has no rolled edge under the rider's leg to give closer contact and less bulk under the leg. Velcro flap strap and girth straps are easily adjustable.

Fleeceworks uses the the best Australian sheepskin with wool that's dense, strong and very soft. This is the best material to protect against pressure points and deliver an effective thermal balancing layer.
